5/23/2023 0 Comments Solo leveling light novel vol 6![]() ![]() There is no character development, at the beginning he wishes he was stronger and at the end he wishes he was stronger. At best this guy is a benevolent robot, and would be loved at most about as much as the A-10 Warthog is. In the real world, just because someone is powerful does not mean they will be loved. The protagonist was deeply unlikable, the author continually has characters say what a great guy he is, but there is no substance to support it, he has "friends" that he treats horribly but who still love him, and he has one character trait - he's strong - and there is a revenge porn vibe in the way that he goes from the weakest to the strongest - he constantly says that the strongest people are the richest, most famous, and most lusted after. ![]() I would say nothing really felt original, but there was an interesting combination of unoriginal things. I like progression fantasy, and this alright. ![]()

All anyone needs to do is to go out under the open sky, bringing their forks, plates, and knives, and voila! You got a complete meal. It’s so beautiful looking at the wind blowing in storms of hamburgers, the entire town snarled with pasta raining from the sky, and of course orange juice, coffee and fried eggs for breakfast. It’s because everything that the people ate come from the sky. And the fact that there are no foodstores at all in this little town. What makes the town so special is that it never rained rain, it never snowed snow. There is also a story within a story here, with Grandpa telling a night time story about a tiny town called Chewandswallow that is located across an ocean, over lots of huge bumpy mountains, three hot deserts and one smaller ocean. This is a book that you and your child would want to go over and over and over again. What makes this book even interesting is that it’s not written in a traditional narrative style, but rather in a comic-strip kind of way. ![]() ![]()

Based on research, it appears that Poe’s dark childhood is the main contribution to his eerie writings. ![]() |
